The following is a guide to help you to learn how to cite the posts of this blog and its comments along with how to cite other blogs posts and comments

For citing a blog entry and posted comment, according to the 7th Edition of in the book titled A Manual for Writers for Research Papers, Theses, and Dissertations By Kate Turabian,

“To Cite an entry post by the author of the site follow the basic pattern for Web Sites. Include the author’s name and the date of posting. Such Items should usually be cited only in a note. You generally need not to include them in your bibliography, although you may choose to include you may choose to include a specific items that is critical to your argument or frequently cited”

For further illustration, this is an example which book gives:

N: Gary Becker, The New American Dilemma: Illegal Immigration”, The Becker Posner Blog, entry March 6, 2006, http://www.becker-posner-blog.com [accessed March 28,2006]

“To Cite a Comment posted on A Weblog by someone other than the author of this site, follow the basic pattern for Weblog entries. Identify the material as s comment, and include the data when the comment (not the entry itself was posted. If the comment authors’ name is incomplete or pseudonym, add pseud.in brackets after the posted name”
